Ooooooh what does that do?!

So my boss over at his blog decided to tag us with a 5 things meme. Sooooo the gist is I need to post 5 things that most people don’t know about me. Heeeeere we go:

1. I have two middle names. On most of my documents it’s just the one but on my birth certificate there are two. My full name is Trevor John William Griffin. My parents wanted to name me Trevor John but that was my dad’s father’s name. So as to not upset the other side of the family they threw William, the name of my other grandfather in there.

2. I have a birthmark on the back of my head that makes my blonde hair black. Normally hair that grows out of birthmarks is blonde or white but mine is black which makes a weird looking black mark on the back of my head.

3. I am deathly afraid of spiders. I hate them…absolutely….actually I hate ANYTHING with more than 4 legs. Especially if said legs are long and spindley…..blech.

4. I have a strange facination with trees. I like being around them. I won’t live in a place without at least one tree nearby. I like staring at them…sitting next to them…everything.

5. I have no formal education. I have held many professional positions that usually require a few years of schooling to attain, however I am a highschool graduate. I’ve never done well in a classroom environment and learn more in practice doing things and getting my hands dirty than I do any other way. I’m currently a developer for a company, but prior to that I was a CTO, a DB analyst, a system admin, a datacenter automation specialist, and PC repair technician. I’ve built an internet service provider from scratch (dialup) when I was 20 and pretty much have done everything in between and all of it self taught.
